Crowdy Bay National Park closures due to bushfires
Several areas within the Crowdy Bay National Park are still closed to public access including Crowdy Gap camp ground, Kylies Hut camping area and all walking trails between Diamond Head and Kylies Beach camp grounds.
Park visitors at Indian Head must be aware that all walking tracks leading from the camp ground are closed and access is strictly prohibited until restoration works are completed.
Closing national parks and reserves is an important measure to protect your safety and post fire conditions can be equally as dangerous due to burnt trees and damaged infrastructure. “Total closure” means public access is strictly prohibited and penalties will apply for those accessing closed sites/areas.
Park closures across NSW will be reviewed daily. Parks will only reopen when considered safe. A full list of the park closures and alerts across NSW is available at nationalparks.nsw.gov.au/alerts/alerts-list
